About Miabellebaby
The story of Mia Belle Girls began long before the first collection launch in 2007. As a little girl growing up in Ukraine, my love for fashion and beautiful clothing was always apparent.
I made doll clothing out of fabric scraps and learned how to sew ornate buttons onto fabrics with the help of a family friend who was a dress designer. I dreamed of having beautiful dresses, but sadly it was not an option growing up in Ukraine. Even once my family immigrated to the United States, they could not afford to dress me in the types of clothing I dreamed of. I worked really hard in college to finish business school and made it my goal to become entrepreneur.
As I met my husband, and gave birth to our first daughter Mia, my love for fashion continued to follow me. I was so exited to spoil her with beautiful clothing and give her everything I was not able to have as a little girl. To my disenchantment the local boutiques and department stores were filled with overpriced and impractical clothing. I felt guilty about spending so much money on clothing she would grow out of in the blink of an eye.
