My Modern Met was formed in May, 2008 to create one big city that celebrates creativity. Our mission is to promote a positive culture by spotlighting the best sides of humanity—from the lighthearted and fun to the thought-provoking and enlightening. Today, we receive an average of 5 million visitors coming to our site each month, looking for articles on art, design, photography, architecture, technology, environmental issues, and more.
My Modern Met Store was formed to create a marketplace where top artists and makers can sell their products. We only feature clever and creative items that have been posted on our art+culture website, My Modern Met.
All products are delivered from our headquarters in Southern California where we handle everything – from hand-packaging, boxing, shipping, and customer service. You can trust that all of our products are handled with care and that we're being as environmentally-friendly as possible.
In our quest to further support the arts, at least 1% of all profits will be donated to a cause that benefits unprivileged children and adults, giving them the opportunity to experience art in a way that they might not otherwise have. We'll be selecting a new art-related charity every year, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know and we'll look into them.
