When Dr. H Wood and his wife first came to Australia in 1957 from Europe, their skin started having allergic reactions to the new environment. With no cure for the allergies and extensive dermatological knowledge, Dr Wood blended a jar of cream at home, made from fermented plant extracts found in his parent's backyard in Queensland.
